Tiong Beng revelled in Lion dance and Wushu, making it his lifelong passion to preserve these traditional Chinese arts. He believed in hard work, as he nurtured the next generation of Lion dancers and Wushu practitioners to what they are today.

Work and interests:
Tiong Beng practised Lion dancing and Wushu for over 30 years.
At the tender age of 14, Tiong Beng went to China to hone his skills in Wushu. He then returned to Singapore and won several championships, eventually becoming a coach.
As a coach, he travelled globally to spread the influence of Wushu and Lion dance. Namely, teaching students in Britain, Thailand and Malaysia about the traditional Chinese arts.
